This California Privacy Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents (“consumers”) under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA”).

When a repair shop enters customer information into the Service, that shop generally determines the purposes of processing. We process such information as a service provider to host the Service and send transactional SMS/email on the shop’s behalf.
2. Sources
- Directly from you (account registration, support requests, forms).
- From repair shops that use the Service (customer and job data they enter).
- Automatically from devices (logs, cookies or similar technologies as described in the Privacy Policy).
- From service providers (e.g., payment or messaging delivery status).
3. Business or Commercial Purposes
We use personal information to: provide and secure the Service; send transactional SMS and email on behalf of shops; process subscriptions and payments; provide support; prevent fraud; and comply with law. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under the CPRA beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.
4. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to service providers and contractors (such as hosting, SMS, email, and payment processors) for business purposes. We do not sell personal information and do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
Notice of non-sale / non-sharing: ShopNSign LLC does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
5. Your California Rights
Subject to verification and exceptions under the CCPA, California residents may have the right to:
- Know / Access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
- Delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you.
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt-out of sale or sharing — not applicable if we do not sell or share; you may still contact us with questions.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — where required by law for uses beyond those necessary to provide the Service.
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising CCPA rights.
6. How to Submit a Request
Email joselio@shopnsign.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request” and describe your request. We will verify your identity using information associated with your relationship to us (for example, account email). If you are a customer of a repair shop (not a SHOPNSIGN account holder), we may direct you to that shop or handle the request in coordination with the shop, because the shop may be the business that collected your information.
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity.
7. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including legal, accounting, and security requirements, and the retention of signed work-order records and audit logs.
